They are the best in the business. I’ve been going to them since approximately 2017. Personable, professional, compassionate, flexible, reliable and so nice. Unfortunately, they are out of network under my employer’s coverage, so I pay out of pocket and it’s worth it. I tried others in Toledo to no avail!! I appreciate the experience and service I receive here!

My mom recommended me here. All the people here are very friendly. They helped me out with what I had going on with my bottom teeth... The price is very affordable also..

I've always had a great experience here and the staff is super friendly and professional. I've never felt like I've had to wait super long sitting in a chair. I am super excited to try this new mouth guard to help me breathe as I sleep.

I recently had to change dentist and was referred here and so far, everything is great! Dr. Schmakel is very personable and does great work and his staff is always pleasant and attentive. If you're in need of a dentist, I would highly recommend this practice.

I am often told I have a great smile (a remarkable thing at my age!), and I can sincerely say I owe that to Dr. Schmakel and his team. Great dental care makes the difference! I also appreciate the warmth and genuine friendliness of everyone in the practice. If you’ve avoided dental care because of anxiety or embarrassment, this is the practice for you. No lecturing, no shaming - just kindness and care that’s as considrrate and pain-free as humanly possible.

Everyone is so welcoming and genuinely cares about the patients. Alyssa is always a joy. I never stress over a visit to Sylvania Smile Design. Which sets them apart from any other Dental office I have ever been to.

Came to Sylvania Smile Design when I developed an issue with one of my teeth. Even though I was not an established patient at the time, Kay was able to get me in to be seen the next day. Alyssa took great care of me during my visit. She was very professional, knowledgeable and comforting. I would highly recommend seeing her for any cleaning or imaging! I met with Dr Schmackel and he was warm, kind and explained well what was going on and what treatment was needed. I feel very comfortable with proceeding with his plan of care.

I had a great experience at the dental office. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. The dentist explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my treatment plan. Highly recommend
